Isabelle Leighton is the Executive Director of the Donors of Color Network and a first-generation American with decades of experience in social justice fundraising, community organizing, business development, urban planning, and fight the right opposition work. Isabelle is a visionary leader working to unify communities and organize the power of people of color to establish a truly feminist, multi-racial democracy and create a future we all deserve to live in.
Isabelle’s lived experiences, personal philosophies, and professional history have shaped who she is as an organizer, and there is no one better to lead the fight in challenging philanthropy to trust the experiences of activists of color and properly invest in their movements.
Isabelle’s perfect day of work starts with her bullet journal, a cappuccino, the latest blueprint for philanthropy at the ready, sunshine, and plans on her back porch.
